    1. Manders (our landscape contractor) has done a poor job this year due to labor constraint from change in immigration related legal environment. As well as a reflection of the contract price we had with them. As a result, we lost a lot of common area landscape. There is a lot of dead landscape on Rolater Rd. With current budget constraints, the Board has to pick & choose what landscape to replace. The Board is constantly faced with a trade-off decision of under-funding the reserve fund Vs investing in dead landscape. Until October 1st , 2017 this board had not replaced ANY dead landscape ever only removed. 2. In considering replacing Manders, the Board got quotes from multiple landscape contractors. The least expensive quote came in at $100,487 with most expensive at $129,900. After considering contract maintenance costs, added menu cost i.e. cutting of love grass, and interviews the board chose to move forward with a new landscaper, Brightview.
